森林ー大気間の相互作用に関するWorkshop(6 Feb 2020)

気候変動が森林生態系に大きな影響を与える一方、森林での水循環が気候形成に大きく関わっていることをご存知でしょうか?

九州大学福岡演習林で、東京大学と台湾大学からその筋の専門家を招聘して、森林ー大気間の相互作用に関するワークショップを開催します。

I would like to anounce an exciting workshop on "Interaction between forest and atmosphere in Southeast and East Asia under changing environment" on 6 February 2020. We will invite four professors from the University of Tokyo and National Taiwan University. They will be giving talks at the workshop as follow:

The workshop will be held!

The workshop, titled “Problems and Solutions to the Environmental Issues Facing the Southeast and East Asia, under Changing Climate”, will be held on February 10, 2020.

In this workshop, government officers and researchers from Southeast Asian and East Asian countries will report environmental issues they are facing and current governmental strategies. After listening their reports, we would like the participants to share the ideas about alternative solutions to those issues.

When: February 10th (10am ~5pm)
Where: Room 1409, Center Zone 1, Kyusyu University Ito Campus

We invite all graduate and undergraduate students who are interested in the environmental issues in Southeast and East Asia.
